Hair Bliss Waiver & Consent
Before any Hair Bliss (hair play) can go ahead, I kindly request your consent to ensure your comfort, safety, and understanding of the service offered.
What is Hair Bliss: Hair Bliss (Hair Play) is a non-medical, non-therapeutic relaxation service. It may include gentle hair touching, stroking, brushing, and light scalp contact intended to support relaxation and comfort. It is not a form of medical treatment, counselling, or massage therapy.
Health & Scalp Declaration
I confirm that:
I do not have any known scalp conditions, infections, infestations, open wounds, sores, rashes, or contagious skin conditions (including but not limited to lice, ringworm, psoriasis flare-ups, fungal or bacterial infections).
I am not currently experiencing pain, inflammation, or sensitivity of the scalp that could be aggravated by touch.
I will inform the practitioner before or during the session if I experience discomfort, pain, dizziness, emotional distress, or any other concern.
I accept that even with gentle touch, there is a small risk of hair shedding or breakage.
I understand that if a scalp condition is identified during the session, the practitioner may pause or stop the treatment for safety reasons.
Hair Cleanliness & Preparation
I confirm that:
My hair will be clean and free from excessive product build-up at the time of the session.
I understand that heavily soiled hair, strong odours, or visible product residue may result in the session being shortened or declined.
Consent & Boundaries
I give my full consent to receive hair play within my comfort level.
I understand that I may withdraw consent at any time, request changes, or stop the session altogether without needing to give a reason.
Personal Responsibility & Liability
I take full responsibility for my own physical and emotional wellbeing during and after the session.
I release the practitioner from any liability for reactions, discomfort, or outcomes that may arise from this session, except in cases of negligence.
I understand that no guarantees are made regarding outcomes or benefits.
This treatment is not suitable for anyone currently undergoing cancer treatment (including chemotherapy or radiotherapy) or who has recently had a hair transplant.
Participant's Agreement:
I have read and understood the information provided above, and I willingly consent to participate in the Hair Bliss session with the purchase of this session.
