Reiki Consent Form

Before any Reiki can go ahead, I kindly request your consent to ensure your comfort, safety, and understanding of the service offered.

What is Reiki: Reiki is a safe, gentle, non-intrusive hands-on healing technique which uses spiritual energy to bring about wellness and aid in deep relaxation. Reiki always works for the person's highest good, using only 100% love and light energy.

What to expect during a Reiki appointment: Reiki uses a combination of hands-on and hands-off placements on various parts of your body, always avoiding sensitive and private areas. These typically include, but are not limited to; your head and face, shoulders, chest, naval, hips, thighs, knees, shins, and feet. You will remain fully clothed during your reiki session as it is only necessary to remove your coat and shoes. During the reiki session, I use essential oil sprays, burn sage, incense sticks and/or Palo Santo holy wood. Please understand that these are optional and any and all can be omitted by letting me know at the beginning of your session.

Participant Consent: I willingly and voluntarily consent to participate in the Reiki session provided by Hay Of The Heart. I understand and agree to the following:

Data & Confidentiality: I understand that I am required to provide personal information about myself that includes sensitive information about my health, and situation. I understand that the information shared during the session is confidential and will be securely stored for 8 years from the last consultation, as required by law.

Purpose: I am aware that the Reiki session aims to enhance relaxation and increase communication within the body, through the channelling of spiritual energy known as Reiki.

No Medical Claims: I understand that the Reiki session is not a medical treatment, and it is not a substitute for professional medical or psychological advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Comfort and Safety: I will communicate any worries or concerns during the session to the practitioner. If at any time I feel uncomfortable, I have the right to cease participation.

Release of Liability: I release Hay Of The Heart, its practitioners, and any associated personnel from any liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of my participation in the Reiki session, including any advice given by the practitioner.

Participant's Agreement:

I have read and understood the information provided above, and I willingly consent to participate in the Reiki session with the purchase of this session.
